David Alcorn has specialized in book design primarily for museums,
university presses and independent publishers since 1986. His design
career spans over thirty years with experience in corporate design firms
in New York, San Francisco, and La Jolla.
He received his Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from the California
College of the Arts.
David has taught design at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco
and has spoken at professional seminars in New York and San Francisco
and Vancouver, B.C. He has been a frequent presenter at Career Days in
high schools "Graphic Design a Profession."
